Last 17^th of December 2011 we held the opening of our first ecological house. This prototype was built in a 10 day workshop offered to 15 volunteer promoters from the Atzalan Altotonga, Xalacingo and San Juan Xiutetelco communities.

The main material for the construction is earth, in which we aggregate 10% of cement to to make it stronger. Neither sticks nor ???  are among its contents, it is built so that it can resist an earthquake and it can last up to 200 years.

It is also ?? thanks to its components and its wall’s width.

During the implementation a Tonacalli ecological stove, a dry ecological lavatory and an illumination system with solar ?? were installed. Afterwards, more eco techniques were installed: rain water ??, and a treatment plant of “grey waters” of iron cement.  

It counts with furniture made by rural producers: living-room, dinning-room and bedroom, made of wood and covered with ??

The cost of the materials and the furniture is no more than $85,000.00.

It is an economic, cozy and sustainable alternative for the space needs of daily life.
