Si le das un pez a un hombre le quitas el hambre un dia, si le enseñas a pescar sustentablemente, se la quitas para siempre...
(If you give a man a fish, you take away his hunger one day... if you teach him to fish sustainably, you take away his hunger forever...)

Implementation of popular saving banks

In rural zones credit is scarce and its cost is extremely high. Since the people who lend money do so at  very high rates (10— 20%) making it almost impossible to repay a loan.  Most of the time, the lenders end up taking the goods or properties the people have impounded.

Families in rural areas also lack an affordable means to deposit their savings as most banking institutions are located in cities and impose conditions unsuited to small savers. S Such as commissions, lack of accessibility, and so on.

Through popular savings banks, rural households can deposit their savings while having small loans to implement investments and improvements in their production unit that often triggers a virtuous process of sustainable development.

The objective is to Create a mechanism for savings and affordable credit for rural households, where the same beneficiaries are the resource managers.
